Roles and Responsibilities

• Explaining sonographic procedures to patients, answering questions, preparing patients by applying the gel to the skin, and positioning the patients on the table.


• Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjustments to the sonographic equipment when necessary.


• Selecting the appropriate settings and adjusting the patients' positions accordingly.


• Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures.


• Presenting the sonograms and preliminary findings to the Physicians.


• Develop and fully Implement SOPs and Policies.


• Ensures the scan room is properly prepared for patients.


• Completing the appropriate documentation and maintaining patients' histories and medical records.


• Keep proper hygiene of Sonographic apparatus


• Ensuring patient or client medical records or history are kept confidential.


• Any other assignment as it may come from the General Manager or higher officer

Educational Requirement and Qualifications

• At Least an OND / HND / BSc in any relevant course


• Minimum of 2 year Work Experience as a sonographer technician
