Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed land surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries, elevation levels, and other relevant data.


• Prepare and maintain accurate survey reports, maps, and sketches.


• Use GPS and other surveying instruments to collect and analyze data.


• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure survey data is integrated into project plans.


• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.


• Establish fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.


• Prepare and revise land survey drawings using CAD software.


• Monitor and report on survey progress and project timelines.


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land surveying.


• Provide guidance and supervision to surveying assistants and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in land surveying.


• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other surveying software.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to land surveying in Nigeria.
