Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated Junior Laravel Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior developers in coding, managing, and improving our company’s Laravel-based applications and websites.

Job Details

• As a Junior Laravel Developer, your duties will include interpreting and analyzing project specifications, writing clean, secure, and efficient codes, and testing and troubleshooting the Laravel applications and databases.


• Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of the Laravel framework and the willingness to learn and improve continuously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing new features and functionality for Laravel-based applications


• Help maintain the existing codebase and troubleshoot bugs


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code in line with the Laravel framework


• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment


• Collaborate with the team to design and launch new features


• Integrate data storage solutions, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB


• Adhere to best practices in PHP and Laravel development


• Work closely with the team to optimize the performance of the platform

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years proven work experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role


• Understanding of MVC design patterns and Laravel’s ecosystem


• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming


• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages


• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable PHP code


• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance


• Knowledge of fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript


• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
