Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance AC technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out regular servicing of air condition units, and repairs and ensure routine maintenance checks of all cooling systems within the building facilities


• Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning systems including fan coil unit drain line, cooling systems, and related equipment.


• Frequent cleaning of FCU filters, routine assessment of chilled water supply systems and replacing (AHU) air handling unit filter as at when due.


• Identify all faulty cooling equipment, perform repairs on the systems, and observe preventive maintenance for all HVAC systems.


• Identify maintenance risks on equipment and coordinate efforts with the HVAC maintenance vendors to ensure all systems are functioning perfectly.


• Monitor chilled water line level and ensure an optimal performance of all AHU & chillers.


• Respond to AC faults & related work, and repair other maintenance tasks.


• Assist other maintenance personnel and ensure proper daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.


• Monitor all air conditioning units and schedule maintenance for all heating and cooling units & keep records of all malfunctioning mechanical equipment.


• Work from multiple locations, when required.


• Perform ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time

Qualification and skills

• Knowledge of Mechanical and electrical principles


• Familiarity with AC systems


• Troubleshooting and repair techniques


• Understanding of refrigeration systems and controls


• Experience with tools like multimeters, thermometers, and pressure gauges


• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces


• Physical stamina for manual labor


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Relevant apprenticeship or internship.
