Responsibilities
- Conduct research on migration trends, human trafficking, and related topics. Gather and analyze relevant data and statistics to inform policy development and
- decision-making.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations based on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and policy developments related to migration and trafficking.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of research findings with organizational goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and strategies to address migration challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging issues and best practices in migration policy and research.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to migration and policy development.
- Support in drafting policy documents, proposals, and advocacy materials.
Education and Experience (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field (preferred). A related higher degree will be an advantage
- Previous experience in conducting research and policy analysis in the field of migration or human rights.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing. Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical tools.
- Knowledge of migration issues, international law, and human rights frameworks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and methodologies.
