Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and offering compassionate bedside care.
- Assessment & Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments of patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, treatments, and injections as per physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, post-care instructions, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergency situations, performing CPR or other life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients’ needs, rights, and preferences are respected.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State/Region].
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply).
