Job Summary:



  • The Sales / Business Development Executive (Technical) doubles as a business development and sales role responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving the company's growth. The role requires technical engineering skills and involves researching market trends on Engineering services (which is not limited to Electrical, Power and renewable energy), developing business strategies, and working collaboratively with other departments and clients to achieve company goals.


Reporting Line:  Business Development Team Lead / Manager


Responsibilities:



  • Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns.

  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop and implement growth strategies.

  • Assist in developing an execution of tailored solutions and proposals that meet the needs of clients in the industry.

  • Execute project delivery end-to-end, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and timelines.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

  • Analyze industry trends and market conditions to inform business strategies.

  • Monitor competitors and identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs.

  • Drive electrical sales, procurement, and Installations as specified by clients

  • Support the development and execution of business plans to achieve growth targets.

  • Work closely with the internal and external teams to identify customer needs and market trends.

  • Identify and pursue new sales leads and prospects.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue goals.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics.

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align business development activities with company objectives.

  • Provide feedback to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.

  • Prepare regular reports on business development progress and outcomes.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (is an added advantage), Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
