Main Objective of the Job

• To enhance the effectiveness of Gatimo Ltd Support center and Production unit operations through the efficient use and adoption of sound audit and internal control system.


• The job holder is responsible for installing and maintaining fraud prevention and operational process compliance within Gatimo Ltd support center and production unit.

Responsibilities / Deliverables / Outcome

• Assist with Internal Control Operations


• Responsible for reviewing and verification of allocation of raw materials to production


• Responsible for reviewing and verification of allocation of finished goods from production to warehouse


• Responsible for Checking of Incoming & Outgoing Items for Raw Materials.


• Daily check with finance team cash balance of support center and Warehouse & distribution petty cash.


• Responsible for High Value Sales Review for Stores


• Support Internal Control Team in any other areas as required.


• Management Report: Monthly Card Reconciliation Audit Report.

Key Performance Indicators

• Percentage of Audit Plan completed


• Count of issues found, and recommendations made


• Percentage of recommendations implemented on time (some requires approval at the Audit & Risk Meeting).


• Number of findings corrected


• Percentage of Internal Audit assignments delivered on time and within budget.

Education / Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Finance related discipline; possession of professional certification (E.g. ICAN, AAT, ANAN)


• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Auditing role within a well-structured corporate trading organization
