Key Responsibilities:


Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:



  • Identify and target large-scale businesses and organizations that would benefit from solar energy solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to secure new business and drive revenue growth.


Technical Expertise:



  • Understand and communicate the technical aspects and benefits of solar energy systems to potential clients.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to design tailored solar solutions that meet client needs.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and competitive landscape.


Sales and Negotiation:



  • Lead negotiations and close deals with high-value clients.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.


Market Research and Strategy:



  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our client base.

  • Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance our platform and services.


Go-To-Market Strategy:



  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, customer success) to ensure alignment and effective execution.


Sales Enablement:



  • Create and maintain sales enablement materials such as product demos, pitch decks, case studies, and FAQs.

  • Train the sales team on product positioning and key messaging to ensure consistency and effectiveness.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector, preferably solar.

  • Strong technical understanding of solar energy systems and solutions.

  • Proven track record of securing and managing large client accounts.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
