Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and evaluate their severity.


• Implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.


• Provide training and education to employees on HSE topics, including emergency procedures, hazard identification, and safe work practices.


• Conduct routine inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.


• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes and implement corrective actions.


• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure employees are trained in emergency procedures.


• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.


• Stay updated on relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.


• Provide advice and guidance to management on HSE matters.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills


• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)


• Knowledge of creating and implementing safety protocols


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data


• ISPON (level 3) certification
