Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager for our microfinance bank.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving deposit and credit growth while providing strong leadership to the branch team.
- The Branch Manager will ensure the highest levels of customer service and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and training.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
Deposit Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, driving deposit growth.
- Monitor and analyze deposit trends and market conditions to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote deposit products effectively.
Credit Management:
- Oversee the credit process, ensuring adherence to policies and risk management guidelines.
- Analyze credit applications and make sound lending decisions to minimize risk while maximizing growth.
- Maintain a healthy loan portfolio by monitoring delinquency and implementing recovery strategies as needed.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage branch operations, including cash management, security, and reporting.
- Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Gather feedback to improve service delivery and product offerings.
Financial Performance:
- Prepare and manage the branch budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to drive decision-making.
- Set and achieve sales targets for deposits and loans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 3years in a management role, preferably in microfinance.
- Strong knowledge of deposit and credit products, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in financial analysis and performance metrics.
Skills:
- Experience in microfinance operations and community engagement.
- Familiarity with digital banking solutions and innovations in the microfinance sector.
