Position Overview
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and safety of our hospitality facilities. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our properties operate efficiently and effectively while maintaining the aesthetic and functional standards of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and operations of all facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage and coordinate all facility-related services, including maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies.
- Monitor facility budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Assist in planning and executing renovations or improvements to enhance guest experiences.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
