Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled Boiler Machine Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of our boilers and auxiliary equipment.


• The ideal candidate will ensure that all boiler systems are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler equipment, ensuring optimal functioning of systems.


• Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to track performance and detect malfunctions.


• Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on boilers and auxiliary equipment.


• Record and log daily readings for pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels.


• Adjust controls to regulate water levels, fuel supply, and steam pressure.


• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.


• Identify potential hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.


• Assist in the shutdown, startup, and repair of boilers as needed.


• Keep maintenance records, and schedule regular preventive maintenance checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Proven experience as a boiler machine operator or in a similar role.


• Knowledge of boiler systems, safety standards, and troubleshooting methods.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and control systems.


• Good physical condition and ability to work in high-temperature environments.


• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.


• Certification in boiler operation is preferred.

Salary

N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
