Our client a reputable construction company is looking for Technical Manager (Civil Engineering)


Location: Lagos Island


Reports to: Chief Operating Officer


Subordinates: QA/QC Leader, Engineering Team, PMO Leader, Chief Land Surveyor


Job Summary and Purpose


Responsible and accountable for the achievement of Technical Office Targets. In detail responsible and accountable for all activities of engineering, planning, technical management for projects, QA/QC, land surveying, and commissioning.


Key Accountabilities



  • Achieve targets set by the COO for technical Office

  • Set target, coordinate and monitor engineering activities for design, specification, and method statement

  • Set target, coordinate and monitor planning and scheduling activities

  • Set targets, coordinate and monitor technical management for projects

  • Set target, coordinate and monitor QA/QC activities

  • Set target, coordinate and monitor Land Survey activities

  • Set target, coordinate and monitor Commissioning of projects.

  • Put up corrective measures and actions where needed.


 Requirements



  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or any other related course.

  • COREN Certification is a must.

  • Deeply knowledgeable of Nigerian and International Standards and Procedures.

  • A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in Major Construction Companies with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position.

  • Demonstrable experience in Design, Planning, Coordination, Execution, and Commissioning of multiple massive projects.

  • PMP Certificate is an added advantage

  • Experience working in a multi-national company is an added advantage.
