As the Business Development Representative, you will drive earlySTEMer’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing partnerships, and negotiating deals with schools, NGOs, corporations, and government bodies.
You will be responsible for packaging our services to meet the unique needs of these partners and securing sponsorships for our coding programs.
Your strategic thinking and relationship-building skills will be essential in expanding our reach and impact.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand earlySTEMer’s B2B footprint.
Identify and approach potential partners, including schools, NGOs, corporations, and government agencies.
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Customize and package earlySTEMer’s services for delivery in educational institutions and community programs.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and sponsorship deals for coding programs.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, tutoring, and operations) to ensure the successful execution of programs.
Ensure repeat business and maintain relationships with existing partners, working to expand and renew current deals.
Meet and exceed revenue targets by driving partnerships and closing deals.
Represent earlySTEMer at industry events and conferences to promote our services.
Advocate for the benefits of coding education through presentations, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
Provide market feedback to inform product development and service offerings.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the education or technology sectors.
A strong network in education, NGOs, government bodies, or corporate CSR departments is a plus.
Ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Understanding of STEM education and its value in the current and future job market.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus).
