Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy for the company in line with objectives.
With the Support the Category Manager, prepare the Annual Country & Brand Plans for the Marketing Function.
Lead responsibility for brand management and corporate identity including portfolio management, product renovation and reengineering.
Monitor brand profitability & propose corrective measures to meet the profitability goals incl price increase, product renovation etc.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
Under supervision of the Category Manager, Plan and execute the Marketing Operations (activations, visibility tools) under strict Budgetary Controls
With the Support of the Category Manager develop new brand communication in close liaison with Group Marketing
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
Minimum 5 years within multi-national or other major FMCG company of substantial size and turnover with a balanced mix of hands-on Sales & Brand Management/Marketing experience preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
Sound knowledge of Nigerian media landscape and consumers.
Experience of having developed new & effective communication materials including TV copies.
Able to collaborate efficiently with internal and external teams.
Good communication skills, both written and orally.
Experience working with & successfully managing 3rd party agencies / strategic partners.
Budgetary & cost control management.
Competitive intelligence & insights. .
Good experience in driving new product developments
