Job Description
Zeta Brent Education (ZBE), a leading Education Agency is interested in employing a Human Resource Officer with 2-4yrs work experience in its Abuja Office. S/he is to perform a variety of HR duties including:
- Participates in the hiring and training of staff
- Drive performance evaluations that are timely and constructive in line with
- organization’s needs.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy and Labour law.
- Overseeing compliance with regulations and employment laws.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Planning and scheduling events including weekly meetings and trainings.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and prompt payment of company dues to government.
- Drive culture of organization as stated in the mission, vision and core values.
- Biannual review of departmental SOP’s and FAQ’s.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the CEO on HR and Administrative process.
- Leads coordination and integration of efforts amongst Operations, Marketing,
- Administrative and Finance divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business process.
- Organize staff trainings in line with organizational needs.
- Prepare and harmonize staff monthly payroll
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance across the organization through the human resource
- department.
Interested applicants must have HR EXPERIENCE and be RESIDENT IN ABUJA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word IS A MUST.
Experience working in an Education Agency, Travel Agency, or Administrative Firm will be an added advantage.
