Zeta Brent Education (ZBE), a leading Education Agency is interested in employing a Human Resource Officer with 2-4yrs work experience in its Abuja Office. S/he is to perform a variety of HR duties including:



  • Participates in the hiring and training of staff

  • Drive performance evaluations that are timely and constructive in line with

  • organization’s needs.

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy and Labour law.

  • Overseeing compliance with regulations and employment laws.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Planning and scheduling events including weekly meetings and trainings.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and prompt payment of company dues to government.

  • Drive culture of organization as stated in the mission, vision and core values.

  • Biannual review of departmental SOP’s and FAQ’s.

  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the CEO on HR and Administrative process.

  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts amongst Operations, Marketing,

  • Administrative and Finance divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business process.

  • Organize staff trainings in line with organizational needs.

  • Prepare and harmonize staff monthly payroll

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.

  • Nurture a positive working environment.

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

  • Ensure legal compliance across the organization through the human resource

  • department.


Interested applicants must have HR EXPERIENCE and be RESIDENT IN ABUJA.

 


Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word IS A MUST.


Experience working in an Education Agency, Travel Agency, or Administrative Firm will be an added advantage.
