We are seeking a dynamic and motivated NYSC Corps Member to join our IT Department at Mshel Homes Limited. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of software development and a passion for technology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development and maintenance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications.


• Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.


• Participate in coding, debugging, and updating existing software systems.


• Provide technical support to end-users regarding software-related issues.


• Help in the maintenance and management of company websites, portals, and other digital platforms.


• Assist in creating technical documentation, user guides, and operational manuals for developed software.


• Prepare regular reports on software performance and troubleshooting activities.


• Assist in managing and maintaining the company's databases.


• Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms.


• Support the IT department with general tasks such as hardware troubleshooting and network issues.


• Assist in the setup and maintenance of company systems and software updates.


• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in software engineering and IT solutions.


• Assist the IT team in researching new technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• NYSC Corper currently serving.


• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• An understanding of software development (knowledge in languages such as PHP Laravel Framework, Python, Java, or C# is an advantage).


• Basic knowledge of database management systems.


• Familiarity with web development frameworks is a plus (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).


• Have a midlevel knowledge of frontend framework like Angular, Veu or React.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Strong communication and documentation skills.
