Job Responsibilities

• Translate and interpret between Chinese and English in both written and verbal communication.


• Handle onboarding manuals, technical documents, and Excel spreadsheets for recording work content.


• Provide real-time interpretation for meetings and conversations, ensuring clear communication between English and Chinese speakers.


• Work closely with various teams, requiring frequent communication and collaboration.


• Assist in translating business materials and supporting the company's daily operations by facilitating communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.


• Ensure translations align with the company’s terminology and language preferences through ongoing training and business instruction.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with excellent translation and interpretation skills.


• Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with translation tools, spreadsheets, and mobile applications.


• Ability to quickly understand and translate industry-specific terminology; company-provided training will be offered to help familiarize the translator with key business and industry-specific language.


• Experience working with translation software like Google Translate and willingness to engage in machine-assisted translation.


• Must work in-house and be available for frequent real-time oral interpretation, often resolving translation needs on the spot.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


• A cultural understanding of both Chinese and English-speaking contexts, ensuring translations are accurate and contextually appropriate.


• Flexibility to expand into other roles, including customer-facing or project management positions, as opportunities for growth are available within the company.
