Duties / Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate statements, reports, and summaries of all the financial activities of the company
- Preparing and filling statutory deductions i.e VAT, PAYE, CIT, Pension Fund, etc.
- Prepare annual depreciation and depletion tax schedules.
- Managing payments to vendors and collecting funds from customers.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Liaise with external auditors on organization findings.
- Ensuring company financial accounts and vendors are paid on time
- Managing the company assets register
Requirements / Skill
- Minimum of OND in Accounting or related discipline
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position with good knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge of ERP and other Accounting software
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge in financial reporting
