Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The main purpose of the Sales Account Manager Flavors role is to assist sales efforts, conduct market research, develop marketing strategies, manage customer relationships, and support promotional campaigns to drive sustainable business growth in the West African food & beverage sector
Main Responsibilities
- Support Sales Efforts: Assist with maintaining and supporting our beverage and food sales customers in the West & Central African region, including the support of Key Accounts, Retail Brand Customers, regular Food and Dairy Customers
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to monitor market trends, identify potential opportunities, and provide insights that inform sales and marketing strategies
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies within the West African market
- Sales Planning Support: Aid in the creation and execution of sales plans and budget ensuring alignment with overall market plans for EMEA region
- Customer Relationship Management: Assist in establishing and nurturing long-term customer relationships to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Promotion and Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to enhance ADM brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Customer Concept Development: Work closely with product management, application and product development teams to create and refine customer concepts that meet market demands.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in any of the sciences, food science and technology or business administration would be preferred
- Experience in the B2B food, beverage dairy and ingredients business would be a plus
- Knowledge and commercial contacts to the beverage, dairy and food market
- Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region
- Excellent English & French language skills
- Independent and structured work
- Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
- Strong customer, service orientation and technology skills
