Job Description

• We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of English Language to join our team.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language to students at various levels, with a focus on preparing them for WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED examinations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for English Language.


• Teach and assess students preparing for WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED English Language examinations.


• Mark and provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments, ensuring students understand their progress.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.


• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is added advantage)


• Relevant teaching certification and experience in teaching English Language.


• Experience in teaching and marking of WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, and GED examination formats and requirements.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
