Duties

• Clean and tidy guest rooms which include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, replenish room amenities such as toiletries, towels and linens.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations and storage.


• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring proper food handling and storage.


• Ensure common areas such as lounges, hallways and restrooms are kept clean and well maintained. This includes dusting, mopping floors and emptying trash bins.


• Handle laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding and delivering linens and towels.


• Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the manager when stock needs to be replenished.


• Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, assisting with any requests or needs they may have.


• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the manager promptly.


• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.


• Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess a National Diploma in Hospitality and Management or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.


• Certification in Hotel and Catering is an added advantage.
