2. Job Description
- The marketing & sales manager is responsible for the sales team and will work with the Sales Reps and Officers to attain sales goals of the company.
- Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team according to the departmental sales target.
- Working with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
- Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
- Travelling to potential and existing customers to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
- Meeting up to date with products and competitors.
- Monitoring your teams' performance and motivating them to reach targets.
- Execute and document OTJ (On The Job) Trainings for Marketing & Sales Team members.
- Develop innovative strategies to expand our brand awareness across all channels (ads, partnerships, social media, web experience).
- Set clear objectives and goals, define target audiences, optimize spend and track performance.
- Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports to senior management.
3. Requirements (MUST)
- o Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Marketing, Business or any other related field. An MBA is an added advantage
- o Experience: At least 5 years’ medical sales experience in a B2B company with proven record of success.
- o Experience working for a start-up or similar fast-paced environment, or demonstrated proactivity, resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and entrepreneurial environment
4. Skills & Abilities
- Excellent writing, public speaking, and presentation skills
- Interest and proven ability to innovate in marketing tactics, especially using digital channels.
- Proficient in all MS Office Tools
- Must be capable of preparing management reports and correspondence
- Internet savvy
- Excellent knowledge of the territory assigned and its environs
