Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to prepare delicious and high-quality meals for our customers.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining kitchen standards, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation and report to Restaurant Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
- Menu Development: Assist in developing new menu items and recipes.
- Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient inventory and order supplies.
- Quality Control: Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Cost Control: Minimize food waste and optimize ingredient usage.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve efficient service.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.
Qualifications / Requirements
- OND / Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Food Safety Certification, Culinary Arts Certification (added advantage).
- Minimum 2-5 years of cooking experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent cooking skills, knowledge of Nigerian and international cuisine,
- Good hygiene and quality control skills.
Working Conditions:

- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and cooking.
