Job Summary



  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to prepare delicious and high-quality meals for our customers.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining kitchen standards, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation and report to Restaurant Manager


Job Responsibilities



  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and quality standards.

  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.

  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.

  • Menu Development: Assist in developing new menu items and recipes.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient inventory and order supplies.

  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste.

  • Health and Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Cost Control: Minimize food waste and optimize ingredient usage.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve efficient service.

  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.


Qualifications / Requirements



  • OND / Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.

  • Food Safety Certification, Culinary Arts Certification (added advantage).

  • Minimum 2-5 years of cooking experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.

  • Excellent cooking skills, knowledge of Nigerian and international cuisine,

  • Good hygiene and quality control skills.


Working Conditions:



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and cooking.
