- As we continue to develop our activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Sales & Marketing Manager. The position is located in Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities
Business:
- Implement the “Go to Market” sale and marketing strategy in his/her geographical area
- Identify business opportunities in the Private and Public Authorities Sectors ➢ Ensure business intelligence
- Build strong network to understand client organization and decision makers
- Identify market needs and adapt portfolio of services
- Prepare commercial meetings and supervise proposals
- Lead and coordinate professional and customized winning proposals and answer to tenders with BUs support ➢ Elaborate Business Plan and define pricing policy in collaboration with BU Managers, Finance & Management ➢ Negotiate terms of contract with the client with inputs from Legal, Finance & Ops.
- Mobilize the project team and properly transfer the contract to operation
- Maintain & reinforce the client relationship during the full life of the contract
- Identify technological partners (if applicable) and lead negotiation process
- Manage Sales dashboards on Salesforce and ensure sales cycle data are correctly recorded on Salesforce by the Sales team and BUs.
- Manage & coordinate Sales Team
- Weekly/Monthly reporting to local management & Africa S&M including SalesForce reporting
- Actively Participate in Monthly MBR Marketing:
- Coordinate the preparation of presentations and material to best illustrate the group competences, resources, experiences
- Represent the company in Fairs, professional events and among professional organizations (NACCIMA,….)
- Organise webinars, seminars, etc.
Distribution of working time:
- Visit to clients at least 70% of time during a month (& reporting in Salesforce)
Performance Indicators
Sales:
- Contribution to margin development and revenue growth
- DSO
- Provide reliable sales projects indicators Marketing:
- New program implementation (Timing, Accuracy, etc) - operations & techniques
- Provide information on competition
- Implement Key Account strategy (Banks, financial entities, FMCG - retailers, Hospitality, O&G upstream & downstream, Agri-food Manufacturers, international organizations, Ministries)
Current annual KPIs:
- Country turnover: as per budget figures
- Profitability (OP/Revenue): Min. 16%
- Annual Sales: as per budget figures
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- A graduate with at least 10 years strong experience in business development & sales
- Knowledge of Testing, Inspection, Certification Industry is a plus
- Very good listening skills, high negotiation skills
- Presentation and convincing skills
- Proven project management skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- French is a plus
- MS365 literate
- Valid Driving license
