Job Summary



  • We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee our organization's financial operations, ensuring optimal cash management, funding, risk management, and investment strategies.

  • The ideal candidate will lead our treasury team, providing strategic financial guidance and expertise to drive business growth.


Job Responsibilities



  • Oversee the capital structure and optimal financing options for the profitability of the business.

  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement (on daily trading rate determinant)

  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives

  • Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/fundraising compliance and reporting

  • Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, directors, management team, and rest of the company.

  • Responsible for the design of financial reporting framework, accounting policies, tax management and controls.

  • Internalized the monthly payroll of the business without any compliance hitches.

  • Set up the finance and accounting departments, supervise them to attain financial objectives for the organization, and ensure all financial reporting practices adhere to IFRS and GAAP.

  • Liaises with external tax consultants and ensures successful completion of the company’s tax filings.

  • Prepares monthly and annual budget, monthly and quarterly cash flow forecast, monthly & quarterly financial statements, periodic reports for the directors.

  • Oversees all foreign exchange transactions and ensures foreign currency exposure is mitigated.

  • Manages the bookkeeping function, including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and resolving any irregularities.

  • Coordinates the audit process with external auditors and ensures all supporting documents are available to facilitate a smooth and successful audit.


Qualifications and Skills



  • B.Sc in Accounting/Finance from recognized institutions;

  • M.BA will be an added advantage;

  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience from manufacturing companies

  • Membership of professional certifications such as CFI will be an added advantage;

  • Strong Leadership, Communication, Organizational and Analytical skills;

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Risk Management.
