Job Summary:

The Poultry Farm Attendant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day care of poultry, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of the birds. The attendant works under the direction of farm managers to ensure optimal living conditions for the birds and assist in maintaining farm equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide feed and water to poultry birds according to the feeding schedule and ration.


• Ensure that water systems are functional and clean.


• Monitor feed consumption and report any irregularities.


• Observe birds for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior.


• Report any health issues to supervisors or managers


• Administer medications or vaccines as directed.


• Remove waste materials, ensuring the poultry's living environment remains clean and healthy.


• Collect eggs from laying hens, ensuring they are handled with care to avoid breakages


• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including feeding schedules, bird health, and egg production. 

Requirement:

• Minimum of OND 

Salary : 70,000

Must be resident of imo state or willing to relocate
