Responsibilities

• Transport staff/ materials to and from destinations safely within the scheduled time


• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations


• Ensure safety in driving to avoid accident both minor and major


• Ensure efficiency and accountability in vehicle handling, repair, and care.


• Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers.


• Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes


• Use navigation applications to determine the best route


• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for us


• Keep mileage records, vehicle maintenance checks, repair records up-to-date and arrange for vehicle repairs and servicing


• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.


• Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation


• Any other assigned duty by line manager

Road Safety Responsibilities:

• Ensure you Do not Use Your Mobile Phone While Driving


• always use your seat belt while driving


• Ensure that your light and reflectors are in good condition


• Avoid Roads Designated as ‘One Way’ or ‘No Entry’


• Make sure to always obey speed limits


• Do not Drive Without a Driver’s License


• Regularly obey traffic light and road signals


• Don’t attempt to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol


• Ensure availability of a spare Tyre, fire extinguishers, plate number, and complete car papers

Duty of Care:

• Achieve 100% functionality and maintenance of Vehicles.

Compliance to Quality, Health & Safety Standards:

• PPE & grooming standard compliance.
