Job Summary



  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Officer to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and services meet the needs of our employees, clients, and visitors.


Responsibilities



  • Plan, organize, and oversee all building maintenance and repair activities.

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure buildings and equipment comply with safety standards.

  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services.

  • Oversee the work of external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality control.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous service delivery.

  • Coordinate and plan the layout of office space and any required remodeling or renovations.

  • Implement and promote sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste.

  • Stay informed on industry trends to continuously improve facility operations.

  • Supervise and support the facility team, Office Assistant and Janitors.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree or OND in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Facility Officer or in a similar role.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Budgeting and financial management experience.

  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Skilled in multitasking and setting priorities.
