Summary:
The Program Support Associate will play a pivotal role in the success of the Campus Ambassador Program and will be responsible for organising a call for ambassadors, selecting qualified candidates, and ensuring their effective onboarding and training. The associate will also oversee the implementation of campus-wide ambassador-led training and Safe Online Pop-ups.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organise and execute a call for ambassadors campaign to attract qualified candidates from select higher education institutions.
- Develop and implement a selection process that ensures the recruitment of diverse and talented individuals from the application pool.
- Review applications and conduct interviews to select suitable ambassadors.
- Manage the virtual Campus Ambassadors Community, and provide support to the ambassadors throughout the program.
- Facilitate the establishment of Online Safety Clubs, led by campus ambassadors, with at least 20 active members.
- Work with the Learning Development team to ensure ambassadors complete all required training modules and certifications.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of campus-wide Safe Online training facilitated by Campus Ambassadors and members of the Online Safety Club.
- Ensure that ambassadors effectively reach their target audience of 2000 students in each of the 5 campuses.
- Oversee the organisation and execution of digital literacy pop-ups in host schools.
- Track and monitor the weekly performance of ambassadors by the number of training sessions and students trained, and report same to the Programmes Manager.
- Work with the monitoring and evaluation team to disseminate surveys during the project period to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
- Accurately record and document the Safe Online Campus Ambassadors Program and submit a monthly engagement report detailing the output and outcomes of the different programme components including the Online Safety Club activities, improvement plans, deviation from the projects, collaborations, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., education, marketing, communications).
- Experience working with students in higher education institutions and organising programmes for youths or affiliated with student communities.
- Strong communication, organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms (e.g. Google Workspace tools) and knowledge of digital literacy and technology trends.
