Job Description
Summary:
The Program Support Associate will play a pivotal role in the success of the DIGnified Program and will be responsible for liaising with relevant organisations, managing logistics, and ensuring their effective training to 2000 senior citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify organisations, communities and platforms that are curated for senior citizens.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant organisations, communities and platforms catering to groups of senior citizens (e.g religious institutions, Facebook communities for senior citizens, artisan and traders’ groups, etc).
- Disseminate the needs assessment form to communities of senior citizens with at least 100 disaggregated responses (from various locations).
- Coordinate with leaders of identified organisations, communities and platforms to secure dates, necessary resources (space, sound system, electricity, screen) and support (a liaison officer) to facilitate DIGnified training.
- Plan and manage logistics for program activities.
- Collaborate with the Learning Development team to coordinate the development and delivery of training programs for program participants.
- Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to disseminate surveys during the project period.
- Track and monitor the weekly performance of the DIGnified Programme outlining the number of training schedules implemented and the number of participants trained.
- Accurately record and document the DIGnified Program and submit a monthly engagement report detailing the output and outcomes of the different programme components including the number of training schedules implemented, number/gender/age group of participants trained, surveys disseminated, improvement plans, deviation from the projects, collaborations, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., education, marketing, communications).
- Experience managing physical or online communities or facilitating training.
- Strong communication, organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms and knowledge of digital literacy and technology trends.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Experience working with communities or affiliation with communities of senior citizens is a plus.
- Proof of availability to participate fully in the programme
