About the Job 


The role holder must understand key Mining Equipment components. He/she would be responsible for conducting essential daily mining equipment maintenance check, periodic maintenance for mining equipment, effective cleaning and proper storage of mining machinery & equipment. Role holder would handle common mining equipment maintenance issues, implement a Preventive Maintenance Program and ensure safety considerations in mining equipment maintenance.


What you'll be doing



  • Hands-on supervision of all work shop activities.

  • Ensures proper scheduling, planning of works, resources and execution.

  • Organize preventive and planed maintenance system and plane for required spares.

  • Forecast and order spare parts for specefic jobs/ stocks replanissement.

  • Designing and conducting tests to evaluate the performance, durability and safety of     vehicles and components

  • Investigating and diagnosing vehicle faults

  • Analysing data from tests and field trials to identify potential improvements or areas for further investigation

  • Preparing reports and presentations detailing the findings of their work

  • Liaising with other engineers, technicians and managers to discuss the feasibility of proposed designs or modifications

  • Identifying potential production or design problems and suggesting solutions

  • Supervising the work of technicians during vehicle development projects


What we are looking for 



  • HND Mechanical Engineering (Automobile Option)

  • B Eng. Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Heavy Mobile Plant Industry

  • Good working knowledge of SANY Excavators, Loaders, Tonly Trucks, Shantui Dozers, Cat Forklifts 

  • Ability to carry out faulty diagnosis on diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission systems

  • Good knowledge of safety regulations and rules applicable in an industral area

  • Working closely with suppliers to select appropriate materials and components that meet design specifications and cost targets.

  • Providing technical expertise during the vehicle assembly process and assisting in troubleshooting production issues.

  • Documenting engineering processes and creating technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
