Job Objective and Summary

The Technical Assistant (TA) will provide reliable technical support to the Chairman through regular economic and market survey reporting, and professional analysis of company reports and financial statements to guide the Chairman in taking well-informed decisions. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chairman.

Core Responsibilities

• Completes a broad variety of technical and financial analytical tasks for the Chairman 


• Produces well researched high quality technical papers/presentations and reviews.


• Researches, prioritizes, follows up, proposes appropriate course of action, and ensures timely resolution.

Educational Qualifications:

• A First Degree in Banking, Accounting, Economics or any related discipline.


• A Post-graduate Degree in a management related field will be an added advantage.

Professional Qualifications:

• Qualified Member of ICAN, ACCA, CIBN, ICSAN, CIOD, CPA or any other related certifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years banking experience at senior management level.

Knowledge Competencies:

• Understanding of macro economy, business, management finance, banking, accounting, and audit


• Knowledge of customer service principles and management and Investor relations


• Proficiency in the use of computer programs, e-mail and internet.

Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in accounting, management finance and banking. Strong research and report writing skills.


• Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Behavioral Competencies:

• Results oriented, has problem-solving ability, integrity and discretion


• Multi-tasking ability; Team-playing, collaboration and networking skills.
