Job Description
We are looking for a capable and talented Business Development Manager (BDM) to help craft, develop sales and pursue our strategic vision. The BDM role as a key member of the Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), will have to maintain control of diverse Publishing Industry business operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Applicant must currently be working in a media company or any related industry.
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in Business and Management
- Proven experience in Sales or marketing.
- Knowledge of IT/business infrastructure
- Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making
- Understanding of analytics and performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Managing relationships with partners/vendors
- Attending executive meetings and deliver progress reports to the CEO/Management.
- Coordinating business- wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and business successes.
