Job Description



We are looking for a capable and talented Business Development Manager (BDM) to help craft, develop sales and pursue our strategic vision. The BDM role as a key member of the Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), will have to maintain control of diverse Publishing Industry business operations.


Skills and Qualifications



  • Applicant must currently be working in a media company or any related industry.

  •  A bachelor’s degree preferably in Business and Management

  • Proven experience in Sales or marketing.

  • Knowledge of IT/business infrastructure

  •  Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making

  •  Understanding of analytics and performance metrics.


Responsibilities



  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

  •  Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

  •  Managing relationships with partners/vendors

  • Attending executive meetings and deliver progress reports to the CEO/Management.

  •  Coordinating business- wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and business successes.
