Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions.



Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:




  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.



General Ledger Management:




  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.



Accounts Payable and Receivable:




  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.



Budgeting and Forecasting:




  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.



Compliance and Auditing:




  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.



Tax Preparation and Filing:




  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.



Payroll Management:




  • Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.



Financial Systems and Software:




  • Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data.

  • Implement and improve financial processes and systems.



Documentation and Record-Keeping:




  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.



Qualificatins and Skills




  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
