Role Description

• We are seeking an innovative and experienced Poultry Farm Manager to join our team.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring animal welfare, monitoring production levels, and implementing health and safety standards in the poultry farm.


• This is a full-time, on-site role located at Ife, Osun state.

Qualifications

• BS / MS Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a relevant field


• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.


• Poultry Farm Management, Animal Welfare, and Production Monitoring skills


• First-hand experience in the management of broilers and point of lay birds from egg fertilization to point of sale, point of cage and point of sale.


• Operating facility equipment and maintenance.


• Drug and Vaccine Administration.


• Must have knowledge of poultry feed formulation.


• Knowledge of health and safety standards in poultry farming.


• Team management and leadership skills.


• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Experience in agricultural management or related field.


• Preparation of detailed reports on broiler/layers performance, egg production, vaccination records and overall birds' health.
