Role Overview




  • We are looking for a Junior Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. We seek a talented individual to contribute to our sales success in Lagos.

  • This is a full-time hybrid role as a Junior Sales Representative located in Lagos with some remote work possible. 

  • As a Junior Sales Representative, you'll focus on generating new business and supporting the sales team.

  • Your responsibilities will include building customer relationships, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our products and services.



Job Responsibilities




  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and generate leads.

  • Deposit mobilization.

  • Achieve sales targets as assigned by the sales manager.

  • Vast knowledge of the mainland axis and its environs.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the microfinance bank's customer base and market share.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports

  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans for improvement to senior management.

  • Provide support to the sales team as needed. 



Job Requirement




  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a Sales role and proven track record in mobilizing deposits. 

  • Experience working in a Microfinance Bank is a must-have. 

  • Previous and proven usage of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.

  • Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, should be a self-starter

  • The desired candidate is expected to be primarily highly proactive and corrective in approach. 

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong awareness and knowledge of the Mainland axis. 

  • HND/bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Marketing or related field.
