Role Overview:



We are seeking a proactive, strategic finance and accounting rockstar who goes beyond traditional accounting. This role will ensure financial compliance, drive efficient cash flow management, and deliver insights that support our growth trajectory. You will be instrumental in translating financial data into actionable strategies that drive business objectives and foster financial health.



Key Responsibilities:



Financial Management & Reporting:




  • Oversee financial accounting processes, including general ledger, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.

  • Prepare and present GAAP-compliant financial statements accurately and on schedule.



Tax Compliance and Strategy:




  • Manage local and international tax compliance, aligning strategies with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement tax optimization strategies that align with growth objectives.



Treasury Management:




  • Oversee cash flow and banking relationships, ensuring liquidity management and optimized financing.

  • Develop investment strategies that maximize short-term returns and ensure financial security.



Audit Preparation:




  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure comprehensive audit readiness.

  • Implement audit-efficient processes to streamline future audit cycles.



Strategic Financial Advisory:




  • Deliver financial insights and forecasts that support strategic decision-making.

  • Work with senior management to align financial strategies with broader business plans.



System Management:




  • Utilize Zoho Books for comprehensive financial management; explore additional tools to enhance financial efficiency.

  • Recommend and implement best-in-class financial systems that support scalability.



Qualifications:




  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) with 4+ years in a similar role, ideally in a high-growth environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements; familiarity with international tax compliance is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in treasury and cash flow management.

  • Analytical acumen for interpreting complex data into actionable strategies.

  • Strong communication skills for engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
