Responsibilities



  • Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company.

  • Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.

  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.

  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

  • Outline the goals for research and development.

  • Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.

  • Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.

  • Acting as a mentor to team members.

  • Ensure Infoware application database backups are carried out on a daily basis.

  • Proactively manage IT projects overheads and use technology to seek better ways of doing things at reduced costs. Complete Projects within agreed TAT and Cost/ Zero tolerance to scope creep.

  • Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market.

  • Managing technology budgets and time frames.

  • Ensure that vulnerabilities in applications are proactively detected and remediated/Full detection and remediation of all vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

  • Staying on top of technology trends and developments.

  • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory

  • Help departments use technology profitably.

  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency

  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes

  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.

  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.

  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years relevant work experience.
