The Electrical Technician will be responsible for executing maintenance schedules for all electrical installations within the mill, ensuring efficient operations to meet production targets.
This role requires expertise in routine system checks and proficiency in the use and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor maintenance schedules for all electrical systems.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts for maintenance activities.
Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical systems on a daily basis.
Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance work performed.
Qualifications
Labour Trade Test I for Electricians.
Labour Trade Tests II and III, along with an OND in Electrical Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in a related industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols in the workplace.
Familiarity with industry best practices.
