JOB SUMMARY



The right candidate is a detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will inspect incoming stock, issue out stock based on approved quantity, ensure proper recording and tracking of items. The Inventory Officer will ensure all stocks are stacked, labelled, stored and handled correctly. He/she will also play a crucial role with working with auditors to provide required documentation and reports during internal or external audits.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



A typical day on the job will involve;




  • Receive and inspect incoming stock for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper documentation (e.g delivery notes).

  • Coordinate the issuance of stock to the sales teams, ensuring proper recording and tracking of outgoing items.

  • Ensure all stock is stacked, labeled, stored, and handled correctly to prevent damage or loss.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, reporting any significant findings to the inventory manager.

  • Prepare report on stock levels and forward them to the Reporting Manager on a daily basis.

  • Ensure that the warehouse or storage facility is well-organized, clean, and conducive to safe stock handling.

  • Ensure that proper security measures are in place to prevent theft, pilferage, or unauthorized access to inventory.

  • Work with auditors to provide required documentation and reports during internal or external audits.



REQUIREMENTS




  • Relevant Degree Certificate (OND, HND, BSC).

  • 1-3years of practical experience in Inventory.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

  • Basic – Intermediate knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and excellent relationship building skills

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, process and data-driven.

  • Creative problem solver

  • Live within Isolo and its environs

70,000NGN Net salary
