Job Description






We are in a need of Branch manager in our Branch of at Onitsha which is going to  responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, business growth, and team management at a specific branch location. This role combines operational leadership with strategic and financial responsibilities.



Operational Management




  • Oversee the logistics and transportation operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Ensure that inventory is managed effectively, tracking incoming and outgoing goods.

  • Manage warehouse operations, including storage, dispatch, and receiving processes.

  • Implement and enforce safety and regulatory compliance measures.



Team Management




  • Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and administrative personnel.

  • Set performance goals, monitor productivity, and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Foster a positive work environment and address staff concerns to maintain high morale.

  • Develop and oversee scheduling, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet operational demands.



Customer Relationship Management




  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the branch level, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.

  • Work with the sales team to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.



Financial Management




  • Prepare and manage the branch’s budget, focusing on cost control and profitability.

  • Analyze financial reports and take actions to meet revenue targets.

  • Oversee billing, payments, and expenses, ensuring accurate financial transactions.



Strategic Planning and Business Development




  • Develop strategies to increase the branch’s market share and grow the customer base.

  • Collaborate with corporate teams to develop and implement marketing initiatives.

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage partnerships within the local market.



Quality Assurance and Compliance




  • Ensure that the branch complies with all industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.

  • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance service standards.

  • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and maintain quality control.



Reporting and Analysis




  • Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, operations, and customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze metrics related to service efficiency, productivity, and profitability, identifying areas for improvement.
