The Head of Retail Sales/Digital Channels will be responsible for managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. He will expand our digital sales channels, including optimizing our mobile app and exploring new digital sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive retail growth through increased outlets and improved customer engagement.
Design and implement digital strategy and marketing plans to drive client acquisition through digital channels and the B2C model.
Coordinate strategic partnership with FinTechs and other potential partners to leverage their existing platform in driving drive sales.
Set sales targets for members of the sales team and motivate the sales team to achieve agreed target.
Recognize market opportunities for new customers and identify key areas for improvement in the sales process.
Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
Represent the organization at sales events and conferences.
Monthly reporting on sales performance against budgeted figures.
Develop products, processes and systems to meet business needs and customer expectations.
Build and lead the digital team to plan, create and implement investor’s clinic across the region to increase client acquisition/enhance client retention to drive revenue ultimately.
Enhance the organization’s digital capabilities, implement best practice social media and digital marketing trends for profitable growth
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Social Sciences
Minimum of 10 years post NYSC experience
MBA or MSC
Chartered Stockbrokers (CIS)
Sales and Marketing Qualifications
Strong understanding of the local and international retail environment and deep knowledge of the Nigeria capital market.
Proficiency in Business Development and Sales Planning, conversant with all asset classes
Capacity to network and build relationships with excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills with a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and dependability.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills with ability to multi-task and function effectively under pressure.
Digital experience with record of building online capability and innovating in pre-existing businesses with established marketing channels.
Excellent knowledge of CRM management and eCommerce innovation.
Experience in implementing a growth plan to drive change and opportunities for collaboration.
Excellent project management, communication and people skills.
