PURPOSE

Carry out mechanical repair and service of machines to ensure continuous operations.

THE JOB

• Repair and service machines in the mills and head house to ensure continuous operation.


• Fabricate parts needed for repair work


• Clean machines to enhance their hygienic condition


• Erection, Troubleshooting, and Installation of machines


• Create a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.


• Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.


• Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.


• Adhere to all work-site safety rules and regulations


• Report all Quality and Food Safety Issues to the Food Safety Team.


• Report all FMN Lifesaving Rules Violation and Behavioral Based Safety to the Safety Department.

THE PERSON MUST  

• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.


• Posses a strong foundation of in technical skills, proficient in utilizing various tools and technologies to deliver efficient solutions.


• Understanding and interpreting technical documents and manuals.


• Have sound troubleshooting knowledge and skills with the ability to find and solve problems quickly.


• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test.


• Technical Certificate is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years cognate experience.
