THE PURPOSE

To assist in the receipt of wheat from vessel and transfer of appropriate type and quantity to the mills.

THE DUTIES

• Supervise and monitor the transfer from silos to the mills to meet production requirement.


• Supervise the receipt of wheat from vessel/trucks.


• Load pellet/SBM from silos to vessel.


• Supervise and monitor periodic quality checks of stock including testing, and fumigation.


• Recycle wheat and pellets according to storage time and space creation.


• Monitor, report and document the conditions of transfer line and storage facility to ensure availability and optimal performance.


• Perform other project or ad-hoc duties as directed.

THE PERSON MUST  

• Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Be numerate and possess analytical skills.


• Possess people skills and must be confident.


• Be results-driven.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test.


• OND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of experience in similar role.


• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
