Job Summary

• Our Innovation Hub is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Software Engineer who will play a crucial role in driving our team's technical capabilities to deliver innovative products.


• The ideal candidate will be passionate about front-end development and user experience, have experience working with a range of technologies, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive to use.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, requirements, and technical solutions that will drive innovation.


• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable software architecture that meets functional and non-functional requirements.


• Drive the adoption of modern front-end technologies and best practices within the team, including performance optimization, accessibility, and security.


• Mentor and coach other team members to improve their technical skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.


• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure that software is reliable, maintainable, and performs optimally.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.


• 5+ years of experience in front-end software engineering.


• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).


• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.


• Understanding of software development methodologies, including agile and DevOps.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.

Preferred:

• Experience with server-side technologies and full-stack development.


• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.


• Understanding of design thinking principles and user experience (UX) design.


• Experience working in an innovation lab or startup environment.
