Job Overview

• The Dispatch Rider/ driver at Concorde isresponsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents to clients across designated routes.


• The role requires familiarity with Lagos traffic patterns, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.


• Dispatch riders must ensure that all deliveries are made efficiently and safely while adhering to company policies and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Timely Deliveries:

• Pick up and deliver packages, parcels, and documents to clients promptly and efficiently.


• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries, avoiding traffic or delays.

Customer Interaction:

• Maintain professional and polite communication with customers during deliveries.


• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from clients and submit them to the logistics team.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all deliveries are handled carefully to avoid damage or loss.


• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.


• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues immediately to the Logistics Supervisor.

Vehicle/Equipment Care:

• Regularly inspect and maintain the motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition.


• Report any mechanical issues or required maintenance to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Rider’s Permit and good knowledge of Lagos routes.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a dispatch rider/ driver.


• Ability to read and navigate with maps or GPS systems.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused.


• Basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance is an advantage.
