Job Overview



We are assisting our client, a leading player in the real estate and construction industry, in recruiting a Facility Manager. The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of the organization's facilities. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations while enhancing the overall environment for staff and clients.



Salary: 200,000 Naira Monthly Gross



Key Responsibilities




  1. Develop and implement facility management strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

  2. Manage day-to-day operations of the facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

  3. Coordinate facility-related services, including security, cleaning, waste management, and landscaping.

  4. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  5. Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations, including maintenance and capital expenditures.

  6. Collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contracts.

  7. Monitor and evaluate facility performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost efficiency.

  8. Respond to facility-related emergencies and implement emergency procedures to ensure the safety of staff and clients.

  9. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of facility-related equipment and supplies.

  10. Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, employees, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.



Requirements




  1. Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC experience in facility management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

  2. Strong knowledge of facility management best practices and relevant regulations.

  3. Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  5. Proficiency in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  6. Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions quickly.

  7. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
