Job Overview



We are helping our client in the real estate/construction industry by recruiting a Store Manager to oversee and manage inventory operations effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role, with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.



Location: Island, Lagos

Monthly Pay: 150,000 Naira Gross



Key Responsibilities




  1. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies.

  2. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels meet demand.

  3. Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and update stock records consistently.

  4. Forecast inventory needs and reorder materials when stock levels are low.

  5. Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of goods, adhering to quality and quantity standards.

  6. Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely stock replenishment.

  7. Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of items to prevent damage.

  8. Prepare and maintain documentation for inventory, including receipts, issue vouchers, and stock cards.

  9. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.

  10. Work with the finance team to reconcile physical stock with inventory records.

  11. Inspect items for damage, quantity, and quality upon delivery.

  12. Report any defective or missing items to relevant departments for corrective action.

  13. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for inventory management.

  14. Liaise with other departments to coordinate stock needs and ensure smooth operations.



Requirements




  1. At least 1 year of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or similar roles.

  2. Minimum of an HND or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.

  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor coordination and internal reporting.

  6. Ability to anticipate stock needs and address issues promptly.

  7. Willingness to engage in physical tasks, including lifting and moving inventory as needed.
